Expand asylum report

With the shelter part we are still running into a few things: June 1 I have to submit the semi-annual figures to the municipality 't number of animals taken in, number of care days, average of these broken down into distance,stray, born, adopted, back to owner etc. With reports I do not quite get there

Here is an example from our previous software program. Can you explain to me how to find this data in reports? When checking out shelter animals return owner something goes wrong, in the shelter report it says left (invalid date) so the days are counted while the animal is already gone. What are we doing wrong and how do I get it right again.
