Customer portal feature new notifications.

We use the promotional banner primarily for notifications to customers such as an upcoming day that is closed. But also for more general things like "don't forget this". These notifications don't need to be permanently on screen or worthy of a whole newsletter-writing. In fact, it causes customers who come to the portal more often not to read new notifications. Would love to see a separate feature for this. Some kind of small inbox like socialmedia with a number of "New notification!" Outlook note; When this is in place, please add a time function so that new customers also get an old notification until a certain date. For example; "entire month of October closed" posted today, new customer registering in October 1 also gets the notification, but new customer registering November 1 does not see the notification.
