During vacation periods, our policy is check out in the morning, check in in the afternoon. We often have long stayers for whom the bill is billed monthly or biweekly. If, like now last week, we select check out on January 2 (i.e. departure in the morning), we cannot start a new booking from check in in the afternoon. Supposedly the booking then overlaps (perhaps because check in and check out happen on the same day). So we can only rebook the animals from January 3 in the afternoon, which means we cannot bill for a day and a half.
