Currently, as a user, you are not "helped" very much through the process of settling a booking.
Printing the contract, marking the contract signed, finalizing the invoice, adding the payment. These are all rather casual steps that you can do in different order (and also skip).
Also, the "places" where you have to do something are pretty scattered (for example: first to Booking tab to print contract. Then back to Invoice, left to finalize invoice. Then again to invoice right and down a bit to add a payment.
In short: it's not really an efficient 'flow' for the user.
Many systems use some kind of 'Wizard' with successive steps to guide you through a certain process. That would also be very convenient for this.
